About Us
Who are we?
We are a mother/daughter team in South
Suburban Chicago. We have been knitting
and dyeing for years. Mom is a product
knitter, daughter is a process knitter. What
we both agree on though is that yarn quality
counts for a lot. We both love bright vivid
colors, soft cuddly yarns, and hand-dyes that
stripe in new and unexpected ways.
Why are we doing this?
After years of knitting, crafting, and dyeing,
(and several late night conversations
concerning all of the problems with our "day"
jobs), we decided to offer our yarns to the
public.
Our original yarns are 100% Peruvian wool,
and as soft as possible, while still durable
enough to stand up to regular wear.
Lightly spun, the yarn offers a soft hand and
comfortable wear.
Due to customer request, we have added a
Superwash line. Our four new colors are in a
lovely, soft, yet durable superwash made of
75% Merino wool and 25% nylon. We are
sure you will love our new superwash as
much as our still beloved Peruvian.
Froebe Fibers yarns are dyed in the family
kitchens using only non-toxic, food grade
dyes. We trust them in our kitchens, so that
you can trust them on your feet.

Shipping Information:
The hand-dyeing process takes time. We
strive to ship all orders within 3 business
days, and will immediately notify you if there
is a delay. Due to the hand-crafted nature of
our yarns, we appreciate your understanding.
Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policies:
We want you to be fully satisfied with your
purchase from Froebe Fibers.
If you are unhappy with our yarns, please
email us right away.
We will gladly accept returns of yarn with the
label still attached, and refund the full
purchase price within 30 days.
After 30 days, a 25% restocking fee will apply.
We can only refund shipping fees if the return
is due to our error.
All returns must be unknit, unwashed, and
have the original label in place.
Close-out and sale items are not eligible for
returns.
